The year 2025 marks 60 years since capsule toys arrived in Japan!
"Gacha®" (capsule toys) were imported from the United States in 1965 by Penny Shokai (now Penny Co., Ltd.). Penny was the first company in Japan to install gacha machines, and established February 17th, its founding anniversary, as "Gacha Day." Next year, 2025, will be the 60th anniversary of Gacha's arrival in Japan. Penny's parent company, Takara Tomy Arts, entered the capsule toy business in 1988 through its predecessor, Eugene Co., Ltd. Since then, it has been planning, manufacturing and selling capsule vending machines (gacha machines) and the toys inside them for over 30 years, and its capsule toy brand is well known under the trademark "Gacha®."

To celebrate this memorable 60th anniversary, the popular gacha machine backpack "Shoigatcha", which was released in 2023, has been renewed as one of the "60th Anniversary of Gacha in Japan" commemorative products!
"Showy Gacha 2" is here!
The backpack "Showy Gacha2" is based on Takara Tomy Arts' gacha machine "Gacha2 Ez", a capsule vending machine that is popular with children and adults alike, and reproduces the design of the new "Gacha2 Ez" to commemorate the 60th anniversary. The backing paper printed with the renewed "gacha" logo, which can be seen through the transparent window, is reversible and allows you to choose a different color design. The size is about 40 cm in height, a little smaller than the first "Showy Gacha". It is perfect for everyday use such as short outings, and is the "just right" size that a wide range of generations can carry without feeling uncomfortable.
If you go out with the gacha machine on your back, you're sure to attract attention!

Just like the first "Showy gacha", the shape of each part is a thorough reproduction of the gacha🄬 machine!
Of course, it also has a handle that you can turn to feel the familiar clicking sound as the capsules pop out. (The capsules will not come out if you turn the handle.) The capsule ejection hole is a zippered pocket.
Just like a real gacha machine, you can insert the gacha capsule through the transparent window and show off your favorite accessories and items in a display-like way. You can arrange it however you like!
The main compartment opens and closes wide, and is large enough to hold A4 documents. It also has a zippered inner pocket and a partitioned pocket for small items, making it easy to put things in and take them out, and keeping things neat and tidy. In addition, 10 empty gacha capsules are included as a service item. You can use it to store small items or display your favorite items, it's up to you!
