A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import!  From Kotobukiya to the world!  The ARTFXJ statue series brings characters that are popular in Western audiences to their fans across the globe.  The latest addition to the series is the main character from Tokyo Ghoul:re, the 2018 anime adaptation of the Tokyo Ghoul sequel manga: HAISE SASAKI!  Formerly the university student Ken Kaneki who became a powerful half-Ghoul after an organ transplant, Sasaki works for the Commission of Counter Ghoul in the Quinx Squad with other human-like Ghouls.  Haise stands in a relaxed but ready pose, feet spread wide for balance and his signature “quinque” weapon held at rest.  The investigator’s peaceful expression reveals his personality as the calm yet reliable mentor of Quinx Squad, while this version of the character sports white hair (turned from black upon his amnesia).  Haise’s Yukimura 1/3 sword looks incredible, and his elaborately flowing coat gives the presentation a sense of otherworldly movement.  In addition to his standard expression, he also comes with an extra “awakened” face part revealing his grinning red kakugan which stands in stark contrast with his usual mellow demeanor.  Sculpted by Yoshinori Ito, Haise Sasaki stands over 8 ½ inches tall (1/8 scale) on a cracked urban landscape display base.  The duality represented by the two face parts and the high level of detail rendered in the half-Ghoul make this ARTFXJ statue one you won’t want to miss!
